Welcome to the Ironwood Hill Inn! I am your host, Bill Exton. From our spacious log home accommodations on one hundred forested acres of serenity and spendour, you can hike the shaded mountain woods in the summer or ski on the many trails nearby in the winter.

We are within minutes of many lakes and rivers, including beautiful Baptiste Lake, where you can canoe, swim, fish, or watch the breathtaking sunset with a loved one. We are also a great staging ground to visit the famous Algonquin Park.

In nearby Bancroft, visit the Princess Sodalite Mine and Museum and the annual Rockhound Gemboree (largest gem and mineral show in Canada) held each summer, both musts for any rock and mineral enthusiast.

Whatever room you're in, beautiful bay windows and skylights give you a wonderful view of the forest, valley below, and the extensive, creative flower gardens.

A full-service breakfast, including cheddar cheese omelets and pancakes with home-made maple syrup, is included in the rental price.
