Description
Sheltered by a natural spruce grove, Fairmount Bed and Breakfast is located beside a prairie waterway. During breakfast watch both woodland and water birds. Spend the day relaxing while sheep and cattle graze on the pastures. At night from your bedroon see the moon come up, reflected on the water, as you fall asleep to the sounds of frogs and night birds.

The 1914 three storey bed and breakfast is typical of many farmhouses built at the time. The home features a screened sunroom, stained glass windows, lightning rods, maple flooring, and furnishings in the style of early Canadiana.

For some a trip to the farm is like a journey back in time. At Fairmount Bed and Breakfast enjoy the warmth of wood heat and sleep under cosy wool comforters. The garden full of vegetables, fruits and flowers is just like Grandma's. At Fairmount Bed and Breakfast we provide a taste of the past, because just like Granny, most of the foods served are made "from scratch" with locally produced farm products. You might even want to help gather the eggs used for breakfast, or make some jams and jellies. Meals other than breakfast can be provided at extra cost.

Directives routières
Come to Minnedosa on the Yellowhead highway #16. At the major intersection of Highway #16 and #10 (large green overhead signs indicate "west to Saskatoon and north to Dauphin" begin to count the kilometres as you proceed north on Highway #10. Go 6 kilometres north and look to the left to see a small street sign indicating Fairmount Road. Turn left and go 6 kilometres west until you reach the gate sign for Fairmount Bed and Breakfast.
